Random freeze (not bsod), amdacpusrsvc, ATIeRecord errors to blame (Fury Strix)

      Hi all,

I’ve been having random PC crashes (not bsod, simply freeze with audio loop). Event viewer finds the following 2 errors each time:

      Error 1: amdacpusrsvc

The description for Event ID 0 from source amdacpusrsvc cannot be found. Either the component that raises this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted. You can install or repair the component on the local computer.

If the event originated on another computer, the display information had to be saved with the event.

The following information was included with the event:

acpusrsvc: InitalizationForWDDM_2_0: SubmitSDMACommand: WaitForMonitoredFence : FAILED

      Error 2: ATIeRecord

      ATI EEU PnP start/stop failed

Some details of my pc are as follows:

64 bit windows 10 pro (upgrade from windows 7 pro sp1)
6700k processor (overclocked to 4.6 Ghz)
Amd fury strix (with additional cores unlocked through GPU custom bios)
      Corsair Hx1000i PSU
AMD Driver: 15.200.1062.1004 with catalyst version 15.7.1

Issue has been around since I built my PC, at mid-August. Crashes happen regardless of activity seemingly randomly. *** this means before any overclocking/modding occurred, the problem was already there.

      Any advice/fixes are appreciated!
