I've recently been getting into building PCs. I've had this one for a while now, and I thought it was time for an upgrade. I don't know which parts to upgrade specifically. My budget is around $500-600 for the entire upgrade, including the GPU, power supply, etc.

Processor: AMD FX-6200

GPU: AMD Radeon HD 6850

Motherboard: ASRock 970 Extreme3

Power Supply: 550W

My CPU has 6 cores. I was thinking about getting the Sapphire R9 390 Nitro 8 GB GPU as part as the upgrade, but I would have to upgrade the PSU (at least I think so.)

Should I get a new CPU, or is the one I have good? I know I need a new graphics card, which is why I'm taking any suggestions for a graphics card that can run games very well (60-80 FPS) on mostly max settings on 1080p.
