I had upragade windows 7 to windows 10 on my laptop Hp g62 but my graphic card amd radeon HD 5000 doesn't support windows 10. Do anybody have some solution for this problem or an idea how to solve it? Thanks
Hi Vedran Sagodic,
Your Graphics Card has a Driver for windows 10, but it does not support DirectX 12.
The following products have driver support for Windows® 10 and DirectX 11:
AMD Radeon™ HD 6000 Series/AMD Mobility Radeon™ HD 6000 Series Graphics
AMD Radeon™ HD 5000 Series/AMD Mobility Radeon™ HD 5000 Series Graphics
Please refer to the following document for more information on compatibility.
Step 1> Go to http://support.amd.com/en-us/download
Step 2> Scroll down to manually select your driver
Step 3> Select Mobilty Graphics
Step 4> Select Your Graphics Card Family from the list (Radeon HD Series)
Step 5> Select Your Specific Graphics Card (Mobilty HD5xxx Series)
Step 6> Select your Operating System (Win 10)
Step 7> Click Display results
Please install our Graphics Drivers following this guide. http://support.amd.com/en-us/kb-articles/Pages/catalyst-windows-install.aspx
Has that resolved the problem?
Well when something doesnt support a newer version of something that means its basicly outdated/is getting outdated and you would have to buy a newer product of whatever is outdated so in this case you need to get a new graphics card I have the HD 6700 series and i think i looked and it doesnt even support windows 10 not even sure it supports windows 8/8.1 but I am almost 100% sure that you need to upgrade to a new graphics card if possible.
The HD5000 series card is supported in Windows 10.
Windows® 10 Driver Support for Discrete AMD Radeon™ Graphics Products
I have done that but when I install catalyst control center and drivers, error code 43 occures. Do you have some idea how to fix that? Thanks
Have you installed the latest Intel HD drivers for your laptop?
