Hi everyone, I've just finished building a workstation PC with the following specs:
Windows 10 Education Edition
AsRock Extreme 6 AC Motherboard
Intel Xeon E5 2690 V3 12-core (Haswell-E)
16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 ECC
Firepro W8100 graphcs card
ASUS PB287Q (4k 60Hz, DP1.2)
I've been experiencing horizontal screen distortions (horizontal parts of the screen that wobble up and down for lack of a better term). It affects most
of the screen with certain areas being a bit more noticeable.
I installed the FirePro Catalyst Control Centre, what I believe to be the latest FirePro drivers, AsRock chipset drivers etc. My motherboard is running the latest BIOS firmware version. In Device manager all my components are recognised. The problem is worsened with running Autodesk inventor for example, although some of the time I get the issue with very little running on the computer. Motherboard is 30-38C, CPU is at 30C and GPU is up to 48C, stock cooling.
GPU Driver details:
Driver Provider: Advanced Micro Devices, Inc.
Driver Date: 03/08/15
Driver Version 15.200.1062.1004
Please if anyone knows how to ensure I have the correct graphics drivers or knows of any previous versions I should be trying, or knows if this is a common problem, I'd appreciate the help.
