As the title says.
My real name is also displayed in this (my 2nd) post.
Surprise: i do not want that.
Please correct this.
Yes i found that out last night. I should've posted that here.
Still, thanks for your reaction.
I am the only one who sees my real name. Browsing the forum logged off, i see the user name that everybody else sees.
Confusing User Interface this forum has. Can't say that i like it.
Look, in my Profile, it says:
"User name: blínd'ñero"
So why are my real first and last name displayed in my posts, instead of my user name?!!!?
I just checked by logging in as a "normal" user. I see my posts as belonging to my real name, not my user name. So you can see your own name.
That doesn't mean other people see your name. That's controlled in your privacy settings. See: What about privacy? Who can see what about me?
Logged in as a normal user, I looked at this post from you, and I see your user name, not your real name. (When I'm logged in as an admin, as I am now, I see your real name, but that's special admin access. I am very careful to not reveal real names.)
Let us know if someone else sees your real name. THAT would be a problem. What you're seeing appears to be normal behavior.
(ASIDE: I think this is the 2nd or third time this has popped up - I may add this to the forum FAQ!)
Hope this helps.
I'm having trouble with the new drive AMD 15.8 and this problem is only a game Batman Arkaham when I try to run the game it the blue screen of death .Returning to the latest version of the drive have no problem .I use 64-bit version of windons
I can't help, I help software developers. Please ask the question in the support forums. Since it sounds driver related, try the Catalyst driver forum. Thanks!
This is a utterly ridiculous interface design. I'm certain you will have scared away many potential users with useful things to contribute to your community who made their first post then immediately deleted it, never to return as they thought this forum had no respect for their privacy online. I know that's what I nearly did.
The UI does take a little getting used to. I THINK the AMD Community FAQ handles a lot of the basic questions about how to get around, and how to get common things done.
