This system started off with a humble i7-3820 and a very overpriced Gigabyte Assassin 2 motherboard and a GTX 650. Later on I bought a R9 290x that had a mosfet go bad and lit on fire after I thought it was a PSU issue and tried a 1300w PSU on it. 2 days after that I bent a pin on the motherboard and ended up selling the CPU/mobo combo and getting a 4790k and a Z97x SOC (what is it with me and Gigabyte boards I hate them) and now we are here. 6 months later still with a ad GTX 650 waiting to get another good deal on a 290x.
Only thing still in there is the case. The rest is dead or sold (I hated that PSU)
WHY MUST YOU DIEE 290X WHHYYYY
I did a much better job of cable managing it after don't worry.
