so when i try to increase the power limit % it will cause the graphic card to crash.
i have Sapphire Radeon Vapor-X HD 7950 OC with Boost 3 GB DDR5 DL-DVI-I/SL-DVI-D/HDMI/DP PCI-Express Graphics Card 11196-09-40G.
It looks like you are changing the clocks. Put everything back to default. Use the up/down arrow by the power limit box. Leave the clocks alone.
why u do have more option than what i have ? what version of catalyst are u using ?
I believe it has something to do with which card you have.
This is mine for an R270x.15.7.1 drivers.
My 390X allows a 50% increase.
playsbothsides is correct. My card is a R290 reference. Different cards have different options. The principle is the same...use the highest setting your card allows. This will disable any power throttling...which is what you want when gaming.
What is the make and wattage of your power supply?
