Recently updated Graphics driver now getting black squares when viewing picture files in Windows Explorer

Question asked by erin81 on Sep 4, 2015

Had to update Graphics card driver after attempting to upgrade to Windows 10 somehow wiped driver information.  Now whenever I try to view image files in Windows Explorer all I see are black squares, this is also the case when opening the image in Windows Photo Viewer.  Image files are not corrupt though as I can view them in my OnOne editing software.

Any suggestions on how I can fix this?  I have seen this has been an issue previously but most answers seemed to be to uninstall new update, which sadly I can't since my original driver was wiped.

Running AMD Radeon HD 8330
