Sapphire R9 390 Nitro Driver (?) problems

Question asked by johnstamos on Sep 1, 2015

I recently bought and installed a Sapphire R9 390 Nitro in my system as my GTX 660 was getting up there in age. The phyisical installation went smoothly, drivers installed fine (or not, still not sure on that), but every time I go to play a game, my PC restarts itself. This only happens with newer games, (Killing Floor 2, Battlefield 4, GTA V, and the like) Not dated titles like Fallout 3.

I've tried rolling drivers back to 15.15 and still no luck, is my card bad or are there just problems with the drivers that AMD hasn't addressed yet?
