Hi, i want to know that if my asrock fatal1ty 990fx killer can hadle it. Thx
ASRock > Fatal1ty 990FX Killer CPU Support List
You must find motherboard which can handle 220W as a CPU power, I am not sure as other vendors, but some MoBos from Asus have support of these CPUs, but aren't recommended (you need special cooling of power cascade and VRM module, there is a note in CPU Support list here: http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/M5A99FX_PRO_R20/HelpDesk_CPU/ ).
EDIT: I remember one MoBo from AsRock which can handle this power - 990FX Extreme9 (http://www.asrock.com/mb/AMD/990FX%20Extreme9/?cat=CPU).
But I don't have any experience with this MoBo and with this CPU.
no.. the formula z or asrock 990fx extreme 9 are the good mobos for that chip
