A display which runs at 2560 x 1440, normally requires a Dual-Link DVI connection in order to support that resolution.

If your Laptop comes with a Dual Link DVI connection then it should work.

You could always confirm with the Display Manufacturers as to all possibilities regarding this resolution requirements and which of the "Input Ports" on the display can support this resolution.

If your Laptop has a DP Output then you could also get a DP > Dual Link DVI adaptor in order to support it. You would need to check with your Laptop Manufactuer in that case to confirm that the Display Port is avalible and that it would support a DP > Dual Link DVI adaptor.

It has an HDMI and a DP. I suspect the HDMI is sufficient, but I don't know if the video memory in the laptop is sufficient.
