    artifacts using depth buffer on Direct3D 12

      I see weird squares in my own test app and I was able to reproduce with a MS sample.

       

      Steps:

      - Get the D3D12ExecuteIndirect sample here: Microsoft/DirectX-Graphics-Samples · GitHub

      - Change the dimensions from 1280x720 to 800x600

      - Switch the mip count of the depth buffer from 0 to 1.

      - There should now be artifacts at the bottom of the screen.

       

      I'm using an R9 290 with latest drivers and all Windows 10 updates as of today. I do not see the same issue on NVIDIA cards.

       

      Can you fix this issue please?
