15.200.1062.1004 (August 3) very slow on windows 10

Question asked by philip.anderson on Aug 24, 2015

I have the most recent driver for my ATI 7520G installed (dated August 3, 2015) and it has cut my performance in half. My Prepar3d 2.5 and FSX had dropped from around 25-30FPS to 13-15FPS and Skyrim and Stentec Sail Sim 5 are very choppy. Running a clean install of Windows 10, 64Bit automatically updates to this driver and running the ATI AutoDetect Utility points to it as well. The driver from July 15, 2015 was much faster.

Additionally, DX9 programs such as FSX have full screen rendering issues for menus, only showing a black screen. Windowed mode works fine. It would be nice to have some DX9 support still.
