Removing Catalyst Install Manager

Question asked by scotram on Aug 17, 2015

I am running Windows 10 and having problems installing latest drivers for my AMD A8-7600 R7.

I noticed from another thread the suggestion of uninstalling my catalyst drivers etc, rebooting and allowing windows update to install the appropriate driver. When I was doing this I noticed that I actually had 3 instances of the catalyst in stall manager on my apps list. I was able to remove one without any difficulty but the other two won't uninstall. Getting the windows in staller window asking for the location of the original software.

Any suggestions.?

Also when I did allow windows to install the driver I still got the hang up and the 'Thread Stuck in Device Driver' message.
