No idea what wrong, my R9 290 show me DX12 in dxdiag. But perfomance terrible. Its my most bad chose to upgrade to win10.
i have a same problem with nvidia card (gtx970) so i think this problem is not amd specific.
Futuremark: dx12 api not supported
GPU Z: DX support: 11.2/SM5.0
but dxdiag: DX version - 12
with windows 10 beta release, everything works fine, but this final release i dont have dx12 support O.o
I might have the answer for this,
First need to know if it is the Free-3dMark version
Is it the full-monty paid super 3DMark version ?
There was a recent article over answering questions on the 3DMark Forums and a professional tech testing D3D12 confirmed the FREE version will not test DirectX12, it must be the big expensive full version of 3DMark and he also had to have special 3DMark software from the makers of 3DMark plugin to actually get a D3D12 test to function.
Other notes about this were directX12 isnt really implemented yet, this will be seen in (D3D12.1)-((DirectX12-(12.1))
When directX 12.1 releases you will finally get to test directX12. This is what we know so far.
