Nvidia have had the Adaptive V-Sync option in their drivers for 4 and a half years now.
Now this isn't to be confused with Adaptive Sync tech such as Freesync or G-Sync, This is totally different.
Adaptive V-Sync literally just turns V-Sync on and off, On when you hit your monitors refresh rate and off when you dip below it.
I've been using this on my Nvidia rig for over 4 years with my bog standard 60Hz monitor and I was quite disappointed when I got my Fury X that this wasn't a feature in the drivers.
Will AMD users ever get this type of implementation ?
