Unable To Perform A Clean Graphic Card Driver Installation

Question asked by rishabhverma17@gmail.com on Aug 3, 2015

System Configuration:

Manufacturer - Lenovo

Model - G505s

Architecture - 64 Bit

Processor - AMD A8 5550M (2.1 to 3.1 Ghz)

Graphic Card (APU + GPU) - AMD Radeon HD8550G + HD8570M. (Dual Graphics)

OS - Windows 10 Pro (Upgraded From Windows 8.1)

Graphic Driver - 15.7.1

I have upgraded my system on 30th of July 2015 from windows 8.1 to windows 10 and updated my Graphic driver from 14.12 Omega to 15.7.1 but i am unable to open catalyst manager and configure switchable graphics options.I tried to perform a clean install with DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller) in Safe Mode but after uninstalling the graphic driver my system is unable to install new driver as it always reboots in between the installation process and installation interrupts. I have to do a system restore to install graphic driver but still unable to access catalyst manager and configure switchable graphics options.

One more Problem, After upgrading to Windows 10 my Display Properties show wrong Graphic Card Adapter, It shows HD8550G + R5 M200 but actually my system came with AMD Radeon HD8550G + HD8570M.

Before upgrade it was showing correct graphic card adapter as AMD Radeon HD8550G + HD8570M.

Thanks In Advance.

Warm Regards,
