Why can't I use the max VSR of 3200 X 1800 for my R9 270x? (1080p monitor)

Question asked by crucial-1 on Aug 1, 2015

Hello, I'm just trying to figure out if any one else with an r9 270x graphics card has been able to use the resolution of 3200 X 1800. When I enable Virtual Super Resolution it only allows me to select up to 2560 x 1440p, but everywhere I look it says it should be able to go up to 3200 x 1800p.

Quick Specs:

Windows 10

Monitor - Pavillion 22bw 1920 x 1080 max resolution

AMD FX 6350 (4.2ghz 6 core)

8 gig 1600 Ram

Saphire R9 270x vapor X 2 gig

I would love to try out 1800p because my computer is doing surprisingly well with 1440p.

TY in advance to anyone that can shed some light.
