This Rig is a Far cry from my first rig, a Socket 5, Pentium 100 MHz with 8MB of RAM and a 1MB S3 video card in 1995

My First AMD Rig was a Super Socket 7, K6 350MHz, 16MB Ram, and an ATI 8MB Rage graphics Card.

Once I upgraded my motherboard in 1998 from a Gigabyte GA-5AA Baby AT to the GA-5AX ATX board, it saw regular upgrades, from the K6-350 to the K6-2 550MHZ (in several steps) on the CPU

This was replaced by a Slot A Athlon 700 MHz, and then moved to Socket A with the Via KT133A chipset
