Well, I just upgraded from windows 7 SP1 to Windows 10 this morning, so now I'm having multiples problems:
I'm having a hard time installing the lastest AMD drivers, I need some help choosing the right driver for my system because the one I downloaded and installed from AMD Catalyst Control Center didn't work, I mean it installs the software and the audio drivers but not the display drivers! I think they are not compatible with my system.
This is what I got when running the setup
After running the setup and rebooting my system, then trying to run the setup again, you can see that it keeps saying that the display drivers are not installed yet
What I have tried so far:
- Complete uninstall of AMD Software/Drivers
- Clean install of AMD Drivers
- Installing the driver via Device Manager but I doesn't work as it install an old driver version
- I also tried to install the drivers from the GamingEvelope which give me automatically the download link, I downloaded > Installed ... everything fine until I check for updates using Catalyst Control center and says there's a new version and then we start over and over again... without successfully getting the current version.
EDIT: It seems that the HD6520G is not compatible with Windows 10, I'm assuming my card is part of the AMD APU Product Family Mobile AMD Radeon HD 6000G Series... so I took a look inside C:\AMD\AMD-Catalyst-15.7.1-Win10-64bit\Packages\Drivers\Display\WT6A_INF and my card is not listed on it, there is not even a single 6000G series, so I guess that's why I can't get the display drivers installed on my computer, however --> http://i.imgur.com/RNpcfmQ.png
Anyone please let me know if I'm downloading the correct drivers according to my system as shown in the link below:
My system Info:
Windows Edition: Windows 10 - 64bits
Processor: AMD A6-3420M APU With Radeon HD Graphics 6520G
Everytime I resume/awake windows from sleep mode I got this error:
''Your PC ran into a problem and needs to restart. We're just collecting some error info, and then we'll restart for you.
If you'd like to know more, you can search online later for this error: CRITICAL PROCESS DIED''
The startup takes me about 3 minutes to reach the login screen (Just the login screen)!!
After the windows 10 logo and the little circle loading my screen turns black for about 1 minute making the boot time longer.
