Switchable Graphics - Locked Applications

Hello All

Very new to the forums, so forgive me if this has already been asked.

I've upgraded my driver and CCC to 15.7, and I have noticed that certain applications in the switchable graphics section are locked to the power saving APU.

Applications such as iexplore.exe, wmplayer.exe, chrome.exe etc are locked to power saving.  If your trying to watch a youtube video in 1080p the performance is sluggish.  Same goes for Windows Media Player, playing a high quality file results in poor performance.

I've changed all the settings to high performance etc, but they are still locked.  Also looking at the application monitor, the applications are still on power saving...

Is there anyway to have these locks turned off so I can use the GPU?  I understand, that they are there to protect battery use, that fine.  But I should surely have the choice as a consumer? Plus I'm never far away from a power socket, and if I'm am, I'll just change it to power saving myself.

Thanks for your help
