Since the latest 15.7 update Adobe Lightroom now crashes constantly and is unuseable.
Any idea on how to roll back or will there be another update?
If I can't get it sorted I'll be buying a new Nvidia card in a couple of days.
Hi, I have the same problem as you, I simply uninstalled the drivers from windows uninstall tool in the control panel and installed the previous version 14.12 and everything seems to work great now. It is also impossible to disable GPU acceleration with Catalyst 15.7 so, by now, I suggest to downgrade your drivers
I couldn't work out how to do the driver uninstall, so I just system restored to 3 days earlier which was before the 15.7 patch came in All good now
There is an issue with LR6 (LRCC) with AMD graphics processors. Just had this discussion on the Adobe forum that some may find useful Hopefully AMD and Adobe will get this issue sorted out soon.
I had a similar problem with Lightroom freezing whenever I would try to us the Develop module.
I reinstalled an earlier version of the R9 290 GPU driver and since then Lightroom has been working OK. I wish AMD would address the problem with the new 15.7 driver and get it fixed.
