If you think about it too, the same thing applies to Windows 8 and 10 (which doesn't have a built in DVD decoder, Microsoft's way of saving $2.50 per copy) if you choose not to use that crapware Cyberlink but instead use VLC

Same thing also applies to Blu-Ray discs of course. Must be nice to live in a world where everyone can stream all the high definition content they want, but that place is not the USA.
