AMD Mobility Radeon HD 4200 Display Driver not working

Question asked by meowbands on Jul 13, 2015

Okay, so I've been having this problem for a while. I usually use the AMD Mobility Radeon HD 4200 Display Driver, but recently I've been having to use the Standard VGA Graphics Adapter. It first began when I installed printer software, and I started to get crashes/recoveries, and blue screens. I tried fixing it (system restore, random things on sites, uninstalling and reinstalling, updating, etc.) but nothing worked. I system restored it once, and I seemed to stop having problems. Now I'm having problems again, and the AMD driver just has a yellow warning sign next to it and won't work. It will even say that it's using it, but actually be using the Standard driver because it doesn't work. Please, please help me.
