Yeah I read the review last night. It's just another underpowered TEC like the one in the old Cooler Master V10.
I used to work on some industrial equipment that had some serious TECs, ones that kept the whole cabinet enclosure very cold.
The one above seems like an engineering fail. But to be fair, 4.2GHz might not have been enough heat output to activate the TEC. I recall the V10 didn't until about 75C. They should use the damn 220W FX CPUs for cooler reviews.
The cooler I'm looking forward to this year is the new Cooler Master with the horizontal and vertical vapor chambers that was shown this month.
