GPU fan at 750k rpm?

Question asked by pieguy213 on Jun 21, 2015

My computer got much louder recently and started freezing whenever I open a few programs at once. I downloaded OpenHardwareMoniter to check for any overheating, and it gave me a reading of over 750 000 rpm for my GPU fan, from what I know it should be around 1000 idle. I've tried 3 different programs, and they give me the same reading. It cant possibly be going that fast, right?
