AMD: What's new and what's not, a summary

Here's a good article summarizing what is and is not new about AMD, written from an investor analyst point of view. Fiji's performance will really become known next week as the reputable review sites get their hands on them. 2016 is looking, on paper, somewhat like a renaissance for AMD, with HBM2 FinFET GPUs which should pack insane power and efficiency, and Zen (and by extension, the first new platform since the 700 series in 2007, as the 800 and 900 series are minor tweaks, all lacking support for PCIe 3.0 and USB 3.0, among other things, as well as a lackluster SATA controller) which should make AMD not such a "value" company, since we know even Intel i3s trump the FX-8350 in some situations.
