Trouble with driver Catalyst, EDID and LG W2243S screen

My old graphic card was out of order, I replaced it with an ATI Radeon 7800 HD (first time with radeon, I starts wondering if it wasn't a mistake...).

After installing the catalyst driver, the maximum screen resolution is 1600 x 1200 in 60 hz, or 1920x 1080 in 29 hz, witch my screen can't display. My screen displays perfectly 1920 x 1080 60 hz.

When I go to the catalyst control center and disable EDID, I can set the resolution to 1920 x 1080 60 hz and it works perfectly.

But each time I restart my computer, the setting EDID re-enabled, and my screen resolution is reset to 1600 x 1200.

How can I disable EDID from catalyst control center once for all, to always keep my 1920 x 1080 resolution ? Or should I return to NVidia graphic card  ;-) ?

Thank you in advance !
