AMD A10-7850k Runs Very Slow

Hey there!

I just picked up an A10-7850k a few weeks ago, upgrading from an A10-5800k, and am noticing it runs relatively slow, seemingly slower than the 5800k.  My CPU usage is almost always 50%-60% with only a few tabs open in Chrome and nothing else going on.  If I open up Photoshop, the system sits around 80%-100% consistently.

Is this a known issue?  Is there some way to fix this?

Any help would be greatly appreciated - really bugging me that I spent almost $200 on this CPU and it is running like garbage.

Thanks!
