When I tried to upgrade me to Windows 10 , the following error occurred : "AMD Radeon HD 7670M is not fully compatible with Windows 10". When you do an update compatible with Windows 10 ?
Have you not read any of the identical posts? They are talking about the PREVIEW WINDOWS 10...where you MUST USE MICRO$OFTS DRIVERS..not AMD drivers. And yes they will not be fully functional. When Windows 10 is RELEASED , Amd will have drivers for it.
AMD drivers for Win 10 & AMD cards supporting DX12
I'm getting the same message for hd8210 with the message being "you will experience problems with your display."
Today , Windows 10 is the official upgrade. When you make an update to the driver and AMD ? That was my question .
Windows 10 will only be available on July 29, 2015. Until then, it remains in preview mode.
Full driver support for Windows 10 will be available when it is officially released.
Thanks for the clarification. Multumesc!
Silly question, should driver updates be installed before putting Windows 10 on my laptop? Or, should I install Windows 10 (after July 29) first and them come to the AMD website to search for the driver update for HD 8210?
Wait until you have the final, released copy on your computer...then come back and get the drivers.
im currently using the 7670m on win8.1 _fully functioning)......the win10 "get the app" says "report is'nt available at the moment"
So if i do upgrade to win10 ,will my amd gpu stop working completly or will it run without any problem ?
in the AMD website , i saw a page where they said :
drivers that "fully" support win10 - amd hd7000 series (7730 & up )......
so does this mean that my hd7670m will work on win10 but will not be able to do utilise some win10 features like dx12 ?
just to let you guys know
been having trouble upgrading a toshiba l850-16v using this card. after clean install or after upgrade either the auto update from windows that installed the driver or going for the ati driver from the support page made the laptop image to show artefacts and it was impossible to use it.
what i did was going to the manufacturers support page and download the win 7 64bit drivers. uncompressed it and did the installation from the device manager.
so far so good.
