I have a Westinghouse display that supports 1920x1080 at 60 hz. I recently upgraded from an NVIDIA card to the Radeon r9 and I am having a big issue where the display has some nasty ringing artifacts in areas of high contrast like text, etc. I think this may be related to some pixel scaling/double overscan sort of issues OR because the card sees my display as an HDTV source and thus the display does not detect the input as being a digital PC input.

I do not see these issues on my NVIDIA card and am able to achieve 1:1 pixel mapping with no scaling or artifacts over HDMI there so the issue must be realated to how the radeon card is trying to drive the display.

Is there a way I can force it to treat the display as a monitor and not a HDTV?
