My card has an augmented cooler so its noise free. I have been looking at making my rig as cool as possible with lots of fans running at lower speeds unless needed.

This 3 fan cooler is not widely seen outside the top enthusiast market, I have seen a few HD 7970 cards with OEM 3 fans coolers

My GTX 660 Ti has a dual fan cooler and it also does a lot for noise

That arctic cooler cost somebody $80+tax+shipping before I bought it as a package deal with a has been flagship card

All I care is that when I want to play Left 4 Dead 2, the HD 6970 is more than though

I did notied that L4D2 does use VRAM. Makes me want to change recommended card's VRAM up to 1024MB.

In the image, the passive card is my HD 5450 which I bought for test and for a server. On the right are 2x GTX 260 and top left is the GTX 660 Ti.
