We're using resource sharing to share textures between D3D devices (for interop with Microsoft's WPF via their D3DImage).
Now it was reported that this doesn't work on AMD Firepro M4100 FireGL V (and AMD Switchable Graphics cards in general). There is no error, the shared texture just appears black without any rendering results.
Searching the internet I indeed find various people describing this limitation of AMD switchable graphics (e.g. the Chrome web browser seems to disable accelerated compositing on any AMD switchable graphics devices).
Is this limitation officially acknowledged by AMD? Are there any ways to work around it? Any other advice?
