Gpu PerfStudio 2.15 crashes

Question asked by nightz85 on Jun 9, 2014

Hi there, I tried to use GPU PerfStudio 2.15 (2095) with 14.4 drivers but had the same issues as listed on (GPU PerfStudio 2.14 (and 2.15) - Cannot use frame debugger or profiler - immediately crashes)

Now I reverted the drivers to 13.12 and 2.15 still doesn't work, when asking for Frame Debugger or any other functionality. Is there any way to download an older version (like 2.13) or is there any fix

for the pure virtual call on progress? Thanks.

PS: This is the message I get from 2.15 (2095) when trying to use it with 13.12 (Windows 7, x64 and application running core profile 3.3):

See the end of this message for details on invoking

just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

************** JIT Debugging **************

To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this

application or computer (machine.config) must have the

jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.

The application must also be compiled with debugging

enabled.

For example:

<configuration>

    <system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />

</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception

will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer

rather than be handled by this dialog box.
