I have an Acer Aspire 7552g notebook with an AMD Radeon 6650M video card. The problem is when laptop puts display to sleep (power saving, turns off screen due to AFK for some minutes, not the laptop sleep) it then resumes to distorted screen (not always but 1 from 4 resumes is with distortion). I had same issue with Ubuntu 13.10 too, also I have tried several driver versions from Catalyst 13.11 betas to 14.3 beta, all with this same problem.
Switching to terminal and back (Alt+F1, Alt+F7) did not helps, screen remains distorted.
Does anyone had same problems? Is there any workaround?
P.S.: I can not use open-source drivers, I need OpenGL 4.2+ to do my job. Sorry for my bad English.
