Can you run GPGPU programs and gDebugger if you only have one GPU card and it's used by xorg? in Linux

Or do you need to boot into a command prompt?

How do you add another GPU card for GPGPU use such that another card is used by xorg (if that's needed)?

You can debug OpenCL programs with CodeXL even with single GPU.
