how to control number of active threads

    kamran

      Hi all

I have compiled a code under linux 64 with gfortran using acml-gfortran64_fma4_mp library in an AMD Opteron(TM) Processor. Anyhow my question is how can I control the number of active threads at run time?

I have used compiler options "-m64 -mavx -mfma4" with linker optiins of "-L/opt/acml5.3.1/gfortran64_fma4_mp/lib -lacml_mp".

does ACML uses the environment variable OMP_NUM_THREADS or I uses another method to control the number of active threads at run time?.

      regards
