RPMFusion Catalyst - Steam now crashes X on launch

I'm running the latest version of Fedora 19.  I previously had steam installed, but none of my games could launch because my OpenGL version was 3.2.  So, I decided to install the kmod-catalyst packages from RPMFusion.  The install went fine, and I had OpenGL 4.2!  But now just trying to launch steam crashes X and logs me out.  I'm using the unoffical steam repo for fedora (, and have tried reinstalling it.  Any idea what's going on?

Some system information (let me know if there are other logs / information that would be helpful).

$uname -r

display: :1  screen: 0

OpenGL vendor string: Advanced Micro Devices, Inc.

OpenGL renderer string: ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5400 Series

OpenGL version string: 4.2.12337 Compatibility Profile Context 13.101

EDIT: I did a bit more detective work and came up with this by running steam through bash and redirecting output to a log:
