Ubuntu 12.10 OpenCL not seeing 6670 card

Hello,

Been fighting this for about 3 days now.  Fresh install of Ubuntu 12.10.  Install the 13.3 drivers. Run clinfo command and it only shows my AMD CPU, not the video card.  run aticonfig --list-adapters and it sees it.

rad@hammerdrill:~$ sudo aticonfig --list-adapters

* 0. 01:00.0 AMD Radeon HD 6670

* - Default adapter

rad@hammerdrill:~$

rad@hammerdrill:~$ clinfo

No protocol specified

Number of platforms:                 1

  Platform Profile:                 FULL_PROFILE

  Platform Version:                 OpenCL 1.2 AMD-APP (1113.2)

  Platform Name:                 AMD Accelerated Parallel Processing

Any ideas on why this would be?

just to be sure are you logged into Xserver?

No. Headless server using SSH.  Using it to run password cracking tools like John the Ripper and oclHashcat.
