I am getting the Codeanalyst message "Oprofile collected no samples" and I do not know how to solve this problem. I am on Ubuntu 12.04 and here is the caprofile.txt
thanks for downloading CA.
Looks like you are trying to run CA on Intel i7 CPU.
CodeAnalyst Linux flavor runs on only AMD based processors. You can install it on other processors to view the data.
You can run "Time based profiles" using Windows version of CA on Intel Platforms.
Hope this answers your query.
I came up the same issue like jdim218 had when I am profiling mcx opencl version.
What do you think of using oprofile directly on ubuntu 12.04? What will you recommend for profiling kernel performance?
