Previously compiled shader binary files (from 12.1) crash in glProgramBinary with 12.2 drivers. Anyone else experiencing this? The binary format is the same, so I assume it would fail somewhat gracefully if the shader needs to be recompiled.
We've looked into this and have fixed a number of issues that could have lead to a crash from an invalid program binary image, including corrupted images or those produced by older drivers or by non-AMD implementations. This should resolve the issues you're seeing and will be available in an upcoming Catalyst release.
