We are working on Windows builds and hope to have them available soon. These builds will be for Windows 64 only, and will support the intel fortran 12.0 and PGI 11.9 compiler environments. The primary focus for this release is adding support for our new Intelagos processors using fma4 instructions. We are using Visual Studio 2010 SP1 as the C compiler and for the linker.
Thanks for this info. We are fine with the Intel compiler and visual studio versions you will be using for the ACML 5.0 compilation on windows. We are using the same environment.
However we would really also see a 32-bit version being compiled to be able to continue having our product use the ACML features also under Windows 32-bit. As we definitely have a number of customers using 32-bit environment, we also want to offer them the best performance using the optimised functions of ACML.
If you want/need more information, feel free to contact me at any time.
According to the AMD ACML website
>> ACML Version 5.1.0 download is the most current version of the library. <<
but still there is only the very old version 4.4.0 (which has some errors) available for Windows 32/64-bit compiled with Intel compilers.
I already asked two months ago (i.e. when 5.0.0 was released) to make the latest versions available, but so far nothing was done. Please do so.
