I am using the compressonator for the game "grotesque tactics" which uses parallax textures encoded into the alpha channel of normal maps.
Everything works great, but:
How do I load a texture into a an alpha channel of an open dds ?
I've tried to create an alpha channel and load multiple texture formats, but the menu item "open into alpha channel" is always grayed-out.
Would be nice if this could work, otherwise I would have to learn working with photoshop, as there seems to be no other tool around which can accomplish this task
