Thanks for your feedback and we are glad you are having good experiences using Aparapi.
We are still discussing internally how we intend to make Aparapi available once we get beyond the Alpha+Beta cycle and have a release candidate. Even though we have not made a final decision, Open Source is one of a number of options that we are still actively discussing and it is clearly beneficial for us to be able to include feedback (such as your post above) in that discussion.
In the meantime we are actively working on Beta features and would very much appreciate suggestions for improving/extending Aparapi to make it more useful. If you have suggestions/comments we would like to hear about them.
