I am trying to profile a native C++ .EXE which dynamically loads a native C++ DLL. I do a time based profile. The profiling is done. The .pdb files are located in the same directory as the work directory which is the same directory where both the .exe and the .dll are located.

When klicking on the .exe in the "processes" tab I get a new tab for the .exe; it contains as first entry "unknown module pid (...)", when I klick this I get an according new tab with a number of lines, all containing "NO SYMBOL" in the Symbol+Offset row.

I have Win7 x64 with a Phenom II X6 1055T. I have tried both a 32 bit and a 64 bit version, the result is the same. I use MS Visual Studio 2005.

Some time ago I had worked with Code Analyst on the same project, but on a WinXP 32 bit machine; everything worked. I deleted the CodeAnalyst directory before creating a new profile session.
