CodeAnalyst currently uses the processor hardware features to generate an interrupt. Handling interrupts varries from Linux to Windows and ensuring the data is correct and applies strictly to one guest, or the host is tricky. You might consider Xenoprofile, for virtualized profiling.
At this time, we do not recommend running CodeAnalyst in a virtual guest.
