    Suspected problem with acml-4-4-0-ifort64

The contents of the tar-ball seem to have been compiled with pgf77 not ifort

Today, I downloaded ACML4.4.0 - the ifort64 version.   The program I am using it with runs fine with MKL but aborts on a call to csytrf when using ACML.   A call to acmlinfo produced the following result:

"ACML (AMD Core Math Library) version 4.4.0  (Thu Feb 11 07:32:19 CST 2010)
      Copyright AMD,NAG 2010
Build system: Linux 2.6.16.60-0.34-smp x86_64 jediwindu
Built using Fortran compiler: pgf77 10.2-1 64-bit target on x86-64 Linux -tp k8-64e
         with flags: -Minform=warn -Mdclchk -Kpic -Mcache_align -Mreentrant -Kieee -DUSE_OMP -mp -DUSE_ACMLMALLOCFAST -Mlarge_arrays -DIS_64BIT -tp=x64,barcelona-64 -fast -O3
       and C compiler: pgcc 10.2-1 64-bit target on x86-64 Linux -tp k8-64e
         with flags: -Minform=warn -Kpic -Mcache_align -Mreentrant -DUSE_OMP -mp -DUSE_ACMLMALLOCFAST -Mlarge_arrays -DIS_64BIT -tp=x64,barcelona-64 -fast -O3"

This suggests to me that ifort was not used to compile this particular version, even though its name suggests that it was.

Am I right or wrong on this issue?

      All comments welcome.
