I just switched to Linux and now tried to get AMD's compiler suite to work using the x86_open64-220.127.116.11-1.x86_64.tar.bz2. When I try to run openCC now with ./openCC (being in its directory) I get this error:
bash: ./openCC: No such file or directory
I don't really know what I'm doing and if I actually can simply use the binary release of the compilers on Arch Linux or need to build it from source, however maybe the outputs of ls -l openCC and file openCC are interesting. They are
-rwxr-xr-x 1 username users 310455 Jan 29 04:02 openCC
openCC: ELF 32-bit LSB executable, Intel 80386, version 1 (SYSV), dynamically linked (uses shared libs), for GNU/Linux 2.6.4, not stripped
respectively. I'm curious about why it is labeled 32 bit.
Also I have the same problems with all of the other compilers. It would be nice if someone could tell me what I'm doing wrong, because these compilers were kind of the trigger to make me try out linux.
