Determing a card's HDCP status via code

Getting HDCP status

I'm working for a customer that has the requirement to know if a card supports HDCP before playing a video (they have a video scheduling app).  Is there an API available from ATI that spports this.  The customer is planning on using the ATI 2600 on Windows XP.

sorry, they actally need to know if the monitor attached to the card supports HDCP.
