LDS is supported, compute shaders are also supported, double precision is not supported. The SIMD size and wavefront size are different.
The GDS appears to be not supported but there is no way to access the GDS from CAL currently anyway?

Can I access LDS from HLSL ?

Is this an official repport or where does this info came from ?

It was not an official response since I am not related to AMD. However I do have a 4670 and compute shaders with LDS run fine. One can query the device attributes from calGetDeviceAttribs and it did report that LDS and compute shaders are supported while double precision is not. AFAIK there is no way accessing LDS from HLSL. You have to use the CAL Intermediate Language (CAL IL) and more specifically you have to use compute shaders.
Currently I dont see any instructions in CAL IL to access the GDS. In fact even a radeon 4850 reports that GDS is not supported probably because GDS support hasnt been implemented in the current CAL release.
